My first treatment was today and I’m not scheduled for another one until a month later.
Chosen Answer:
I know it sounds cliche, but everyone is different so it is impossible to tell how long it will take to work. When patients begin injections or infusions to begin their RA, some will improve within a few weeks. Others may take up to 3 months or longer. Ideally, it shouldn’t take longer than that as then there is continuing joint damage and the disease is not under control.
So, the easy answer is a few weeks to several months. I would say the average in our office is about a month.
